This Was Not a Weighing Scale Installation. This Was Manufacturing Intelligence.

Indo Electricals manufactures precision electrical connector components where silver-based contact parts move through multiple production stages, outside vendors, jobwork processes, part-code changes, spring fitting, packing and finished goods inventory. Their challenge was not simply recording weight. Their challenge was controlling high-value inventory across a complex manufacturing lifecycle.

Punit Instrument built a connected industrial automation system that combined an industrial weighing scale with printer, barcode label printing, cloud inventory software, vendor tracking, KG-to-PCS conversion and real-time reporting into one seamless platform.

System Workflow

From Raw Material to Finished Goods — Every Gram, Every Piece, Every Movement Tracked.

01. Material Inward

Operator selects part code, weighs the material, prints a barcode label and automatically inward stock into inventory.

02. KG to PCS Conversion

The system calculates piece quantity from weight using predefined standards, removing manual counting and calculation errors.

03. Vendor Dispatch

Material is scanned, weighed, labelled and moved from available stock to vendor inventory with complete transaction history.

04. Return Verification

Returned material is scanned and weighed again. The system verifies dispatch weight, return weight and process variance.

05. Part-Code Change

When a component changes identity, the old barcode is linked to the new part code for complete parent-child traceability.

06. Packing & Final Stock

Finished packets are weighed, labelled and inwarded into finished goods inventory with live reports and barcode history.
